PROJECT – Carbis Bay

Carbis bay is one of the jewels of the Cornish Coast line. This blue flag and seaside-awarded Cornish beach is situated within a stone’s throw of St Ives and the stunning Carbis Bay Hotel (www.carbisbayhotel.co.uk).

 

 

Our client had discovered a potential site on the cliff edge overlooking the beach, however in order to unlock the site it required an innovative planning application and structural solution to stabilise the cliff and make it suitable to locate our clients beautiful, gated property with private parking.

 

Working with our remote client, as project managers and structural design team, one of the greatest challenges for us was identifying a viable solution to create a safe foundation to unlock the site and bringing in the right local talent to implement our plan.

 

Our primary goals were to minimise the stress and risk to our client so that they could realise their dream home in a unique coastal setting, and one which would promote wellbeing, quality of life and beauty.
